The UK Forestry Jobs Newsletter shares the best curated forestry jobs in the UK, from tree planting to director level.
This week feels like a big one for us, because we’ve now passed 5,000 Facebook likes and follows and over 750 email subscribers. We’re honestly overwhelmed by the support and very grateful to everyone who’s taken the time to follow along, read, share our Facebook posts, email us and get involved.
What makes it even more special is how far things have come in such a short time. We restarted everything back in November, launched the newsletter in early February, and the growth since then has been amazing. It’s been brilliant to see the community build so quickly, and we really do appreciate every single person who’s joined us on the journey.
So this is just a big thank you. Whether you’ve been here from the start or only found us recently, we’re so pleased to have you with us, and we’re excited to keep growing the community together.
Stay safe and dry. We love you all.
Jack
P.S. Remember to check out the job posts on our Facebook page - remember to like and share them - that really helps us grow.

Forestry Fact Corner…
🌲 Japanese larch (Larix kaempferi) was introduced to the UK in 1861 by nurseryman John Gould Veitch
The species name kaempferi honours the German botanist Engelbert Kaempfer, who visited Japan in the late 1600s and 1700s and helped bring knowledge of Japanese trees to the wider world. Kaempfer never actually discovered Japanese larch himself; his name was just used for the scientific title.🌲
